    What You Need

    Our Thermomix Strawberry Smoothie is made using just 4 ingredients!

    • Banana - for the best and creamiest smoothie, use frozen banana. Alternatively, you can use fresh banana.
    • Strawberries - use fresh or frozen strawberries.
    • Milk - use any variety of milk you like. Personally, I like almond milk, but soy, dairy or coconut milk are also great options.
    • Rolled Oats - or quick oats.
    • Ice Cubes - for mixing.

    Step 1 - Mix

    Place all of the ingredients into a clean and dry Thermomix bowl.

    Mix until smooth and creamy.

    Pour the smoothie into a glass and serve immediately.

    • Slice or roughly chop the banana before freezing (this helps with blending).
    • Using frozen banana gives this smoothie it's thick and creamy texture.
    • You can use fresh banana, however, it won't have the same texture.
    • Fresh or frozen strawberries can be used.
    • This recipe can be doubled or tripled (just ensure you don't exceed the MAX line).
    • Serve the smoothie immediately.
    • Add a scoop of your favourite protein powder for an extra boost!

    Can I make this recipe without a Thermomix?

    Yes you can! Simply follow the recipe and use a blender or a food processor instead.

    Can I use fresh banana and strawberries?

    Yes! Simply add a couple of extra ice-cubes. Note: the frozen banana is what gives the smoothie it's super creamy and thick texture - you will not get the same texture if using fresh banana.

    Can I make this strawberry smoothie in an older Thermomix model?

    Yes, this recipe is suitable for use in any of the Thermomix models.

    • Place all ingredients into the Thermomix bowl and mix for 12 minutes, 37 degrees, Speed 3. Meanwhile, fill a ThermoServer with boiling water and set aside.     Ingredients

    • 250 g milk any type of milk
    • 4 ice-cubes
    • 100 g frozen banana chopped
    • 50 g frozen strawberries sliced
    • 10 g rolled oats or quick oats
    Prevent your screen from going dark

    Instructions

    • Place all of your ingredients into the Thermomix bowl. Mix for 2 minutes, Speed 9.
    • Serve immediately.
