    Our classic 3 ingredient Thermomix Margaritas are made using Tequila, Cointreau and lime juice mixed with ice cubes... ready to enjoy in just 2 minutes!

    It's no secret that we LOVE using the Thermomix to make cocktails... in fact we have now released THREE cocktail cookbooks!!!!

    This summer-inspired classic Thermomix Margarita is light, refreshing and zesty - we know you're going to love it!

    Just like our Mango Daiquiri, Strawberry Vodka Slushies and Raspberry Gin Cocktail, this margarita recipe is sure to become a favourite in no time!

    Nothing beats a classic margarita!

    • Quick & Easy - simply place all of the ingredients into the Thermomix and mix on Speed 10 for 1 minute. Then pour and enjoy!

    • Double Or Triple - serving a crowd? No problem! Simply double or triple the recipe (ensuring that you don't exceed the MAX line).

    What You Need

    Our simple and classic margarita is made using just 3 ingredients (plus ice cubes!).

    The ingredients for Thermomix Margaritas.
    • Tequila - use a blanco or silver tequila (your choice of brand)
    • Cointreau - this is an orange flavoured liqueur
    • Lime Juice - freshly squeezed lime juice is best, but you can also use bottled or packaged lime juice
    • Ice cubes for mixing
    • salt and lime, for garnishing (optional)

    Step By Step Instructions

    It takes just 2 minutes to prepare our Thermomix margaritas!!

    Step 1 - Mix

    Optional: to create a salt rim, rub a halved lime around the rim of the glasses and then dip into salt. Set aside.

    Place the lime juice, tequila, Cointreau and ice cubes into the Thermomix bowl.

    Note: for a sweeter margarita, add 50g of simple sugar syrup.

    Mix on Speed 10 for 1 minute.

    Pour into 2 martini glasses and serve!

    Sure! Add 50g of simple sugar syrup when mixing.

    Can I double or triple this recipe!?

    Absolutely! So long as you don't exceed the MAX line, you can increase the quantities. Note: if you're increasing the quantities, you may find that you need to increase the mixing time slightly.

    • Thermomix

    Ingredients

    • 100 g tequila silver or blanco
    • 50 g Cointreau
    • 60 g lime juice
    • 150 g ice cubes
    • salt and lime for the rim and garnish optional

    Instructions

    • Optional Preparation - rub a halved lime around the rim of 2 martini glasses. Dip the rims into salt. Garnish with a lime slice and set aside.
    • Place the tequila, Cointreau, lime juice and ice cubes into the Thermomix bowl. Mix for 1 minute, Speed 10.
    • Pour into the prepared glasses and serve.
