What You Need
Our simple and classic margarita is made using just 3 ingredients (plus ice cubes!).

- Tequila - use a blanco or silver tequila (your choice of brand)
- Cointreau - this is an orange flavoured liqueur
- Lime Juice - freshly squeezed lime juice is best, but you can also use bottled or packaged lime juice
- Ice cubes for mixing
- salt and lime, for garnishing (optional)
Step By Step Instructions
It takes just 2 minutes to prepare our Thermomix margaritas!!

Step 1 - Mix
Optional: to create a salt rim, rub a halved lime around the rim of the glasses and then dip into salt. Set aside.
Place the lime juice, tequila, Cointreau and ice cubes into the Thermomix bowl.
Note: for a sweeter margarita, add 50g of simple sugar syrup.
Mix on Speed 10 for 1 minute.
Pour into 2 martini glasses and serve!

Ingredients
- 100 g tequila silver or blanco
- 50 g Cointreau
- 60 g lime juice
- 150 g ice cubes
- salt and lime for the rim and garnish optional
Instructions
- Optional Preparation - rub a halved lime around the rim of 2 martini glasses. Dip the rims into salt. Garnish with a lime slice and set aside.
- Place the tequila, Cointreau, lime juice and ice cubes into the Thermomix bowl. Mix for 1 minute, Speed 10.
- Pour into the prepared glasses and serve.
