    • Avocado - use a large, ripe avocado
    • Greek yoghurt - choose a thick, good quality greek yoghurt. Alternatively, you can substitute the greek yoghurt for sour cream or natural yoghurt.
    • Lime juice - use fresh lime juice or bottled store-bought lime juice.
    • Garlic powder - fine dried garlic powder.
    • *Salt - to season.

    Step 1 - Mix

    Place the avocado, greek yoghurt, lime juice, garlic powder and salt into the Thermomix bowl.

    Mix for 10 seconds.

    Taste and season with extra salt/lime juice if needed.

    Serve immediately for a chunky dip or mix for a further 10-20 seconds for a smooth dip.

    • This recipe can be doubled or tripled if you like
    • For a smooth dip, mix for longer. For a chunkier dip, mix for less time.

    • If storing the avocado dip, add a thin layer of lime/lemon juice over the top to stop it from browning and then press a sheet of plastic wrap directly on top
    • Store in the fridge and consume within 2 days

    Yes, if you don't like garlic, you can omit the garlic powder. On the other hand, add extra if you like!

    • Thermomix

    Ingredients

    • 1 avocado large and ripe
    • 70 g greek yoghurt thick
    • 5 g lime juice or more to taste
    • pinch garlic powder to taste
    • salt to taste
    Prevent your screen from going dark

    Instructions

    • Place the halved avocado into the Thermomix bowl. Add the greek yoghurt, lime juice, garlic powder and salt.
    • Mix for 10 seconds, Speed 4. Scrape down the sides of the bowl.
      Mix for a further 10 seconds, or until smooth and creamy.
    • Taste and add extra lime juice and salt if needed.
    • Serve immediately.
