Thermomix Creamy Avocado Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 avocado large and ripe
  • 70 g greek yoghurt thick
  • 5 g lime juice or more to taste
  • pinch garlic powder to taste
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  • Place the halved avocado into the Thermomix bowl. Add the greek yoghurt, lime juice, garlic powder and salt.
  • Mix for 10 seconds, Speed 4. Scrape down the sides of the bowl.
    Mix for a further 10 seconds, or until smooth and creamy.
  • Taste and add extra lime juice and salt if needed.
  • Serve immediately.

Notes

RECIPE NOTES & TIPS
  • Use a large, ripe avocado for the best flavour and texture
  • This recipe can be doubled or tripled if you like
  • For a smooth dip, mix for longer. For a chunkier dip, mix for less time.
  • Serve the Thermomix Creamy Avocado Dip immediately
  • If storing the avocado dip, add a thin layer of lime/lemon juice over the top to stop it from browning and then press a sheet of plastic wrap directly on top
  • Store in the fridge and consume within 2 days
  • Try one of our tasty variations....
    - add a pinch of chilli powder or chilli flakes for extra heat!
    - mix through chopped jalapenos for a Mexican twist
    - add some fresh chopped coriander
    - use sour cream in place of the greek yoghurt
