- Chocolate - use dark cooking chocolate as it melts easily. I like Nestle or Cadbury brands.
- Butter - use salted or unsalted butter.
- Cream - choose a thickened or heavy pouring cream.
- Brown Sugar
- Golden Syrup - or substitute with corn syrup, honey or rice malt syrup.
Step By Step Instructions

Step 1 - Grate The Chocolate
Place the chocolate into the Thermomix bowl and mix until finely grated.

Step 2 - Add The Remaining Ingredients
Add the cream, brown sugar, golden syrup and butter to the bowl.

Step 3 - Cook
Cook the sauce for 12 minutes or until smooth and glossy.

Expert Tips
Follow our simple tips for the perfect Thermomix chocolate fudge sauce:
- If you don't have golden syrup, you can replace it with rice malt syrup, honey or corn syrup.
- Use a thickened or heavy pouring cream.
- When cooking the sauce, remove the MC (measuring cup) but replace it with the splatter guard (TM6) or sit the rice basket on top (older models). This allows the steam to escape while also avoiding splatters.
- This sauce will harden in the fridge. Simply pop into the microwave to reheat before serving.
- You can add any liqueurs to this fudge sauce.
- To make this a peppermint fudge sauce, simply add 2-3 drops peppermint extract.
- Store in a sterilised jar in the fridge for up to 1 week.
- This recipe is not suitable for freezing.

Thermomix Chocolate Fudge Sauce
Equipment
- Thermomix
Ingredients
- 200 g dark cooking chocolate
- 250 g cream thickened or heavy pouring
- 100 g brown sugar
- 2 tbs golden syrup
- 20 g butter
Instructions
- Place the dark chocolate into the Thermomix bowl and mix for 5 seconds, Speed 8. Scrape down the sides of the bowl.
- Add all remaining ingredients and cook for 12 minutes, 100 degrees, Speed 2 (with the MC off and the splatter guard or rice basket over the top).
- Pour into a sterilised jar and store in the fridge for up to a week.

A little to sweet for my taste, only used 50grams sugar instead of the full amount and the golden syrup. Kids loved it though. Easy to make. Cleaned the remaining sauce left in the bowl with some milk for a tasty chocolate milk. Thanks for the recipe.
