- Tim Tams - we have used classic Tim Tams (also called Penguin biscuits in the UK) for this recipe. You can use any flavour of Tim Tams you wish.
- Sweetened Condensed Milk - you will only need ½ a tin of condensed milk for this recipe.
- Cocoa - can be substituted with Milo or Coconut.
How to Make Chocolate Tim Tam Balls
Step 1. Place the Tim Tams and sweetened condensed milk into your Thermomix bowl and blitz until combined.
Step 2. Use a spoon to scoop up the mixture and shape into balls. Roll in cocoa and place onto a plate. Repeat until all of the mixture has been used.
Recipe Hints and Tips
- The trick to these Thermomix Chocolate Tim Tam Balls is to make sure you add only 200g of the sweetened condensed milk at the beginning and then add more only if the mixture is too dry.
- If your mixture is too wet, place into the fridge for 30 minutes to set.
- Any flavour of Tim Tams can be used.
- You can coat these balls in Milo or desiccated coconut if you prefer.
- Store in the fridge and consume within one week.
If you can't find Tim Tams, you can substitute with Penguin Biscuits instead.

Thermomix Chocolate Tim Tam Balls

Ingredients
- 200g grams chocolate Tim Tam biscuits
- 200 grams sweetened condensed milk See Notes
- 50 grams cocoa powder Or Milo to roll
Instructions
- Place the chocolate Tim Tams and 200g of sweetened condensed milk into the Thermomix bowl and mix for 5 seconds, on speed 8. Scrape down the sides of the bowl and mix again for a further 5 seconds or until the mixture comes together (see notes).
- Roll into balls and toss in the cocoa powder/Milo to coat. Store in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
Notes
- The trick to these Thermomix Chocolate Tim Tam Balls is to make sure you add only 200g of the sweetened condensed milk at the beginning and then add more only if the mixture is too dry.
- If your mixture is too crumbly to roll into balls, add another 50-100g of sweetened condensed milk and mix for a further 5-10 seconds. The mixture should easily roll into firm balls (but also not be too sloppy).
- If your mixture is too wet, place into the fridge for 30 minutes to set.
- Any flavour of Tim Tams can be used.
- You can coat these balls in Milo or desiccated coconut if you prefer.
- Store in the fridge and consume within one week.

Thermomix did not like mixing it all at once.. next time I would blitz Tim Tams first .. also the mixture was far too sloppy to make into balls.. I added crushed Marie biscuits until it could actually hold its shape ..

My thermie would not mix it when put all in together. I would recommend blitzing the tim tams first then added the condensed milk.
