- Grapes Oil - light olive oil can also be used.
- Garlic Cloves
- Egg - we use 70 gram eggs.
- Dijon Mustard
- White Vinegar
- Salt and Pepper
Step by Step Instructions for Making Aioli in a Thermomix

Step 1. Add the garlic cloves to the Thermomix and mix until finely grated.
Step 2. Add the egg, vinegar, mustard and salt and pepper into the Thermomix bowl.
Step 3. With the Thermomix on a low speed, gradually add the oil.
Step 4. Transfer the aioli to a serving bowl and enjoy.
How to Serve Aioli
Dip - serve Aioli alongside your favourite chip, crackers or vegetable sticks.
Seafood - our Thermomix Aioli is perfect to serve with your favourite seafood including prawns, fish and scallops.
Burgers - add our creamy aioli to chicken and beef burgers for a delicious garlic hit.
Frequently Asked Questions
Although aioli may have a similar consistency to mayonnaise, it has the addition of garlic to make it a flavour packed creamy sauce.
In an air tight container, homemade aioli will last in the fridge for up to 10 days.
Recipe Hints and Tips
For a more subtle garlic flavour, use just one clove of garlic.
This aioli will thicken as it cools.
Thermomix Aioli can be made in advance. This recipe will keep in the fridge when stored in an airtight container for up to 10 days.
We recommend using ground white pepper to avoid black flecks of pepper in your aioli.

Thermomix Aioli
Equipment
- 1 x Thermomix
- 1 x Serving Bowl
Ingredients
- 250 grams grapeseed oil see notes
- 2 cloves garlic see notes
- 1 egg 70 gram eggs
- 1 teaspoon vinegar
- 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon white ground pepper
Instructions
- Using your Thermomix scales, measure 250grams of grapeseed oil and set aside until needed.
- Place the garlic into the Thermomix bowl and mix for 3 seconds, Speed 7. Scrape down the sides of the bowl and repeat.
- Scrape down the sides of the bowl and add the egg, dijon mustard, vinegar, salt and pepper.
- Set the mixer to 2 minutes, Speed 4. VERY slowly, pour in the grapeseed oil in a slow stream. It will take the full 2 minutes to add.
- Scrape down the sides and mix for 10 seconds, Speed 4 before transferring to a serving dish. Serve immediately or cover and place into the fridge until needed.
