If you’re ever after a super easy slice that tastes AMAZING, then this Malteser Slice is for you! I mean really, is there anything better than Maltesers!? The hardest part of making this slice is trying hard not to eat all of the Maltesers while you’re baking (or you can just buy a bigger bag… in which case you can nibble away all you like!
This slice can be stored in an airtight container for a few days. However! Just make sure you place the halved Maltesers face down in the chocolate layer so that they stay nice and crispy!
This is a great slice to pop into lunch boxes as a special treat (if you can stop yourself from eating it all!). It’s such a family favourite and is always requested – by little kids and big kids alike!
We hope you love this slice as much as we do. Now, go and buy a big bag of Maltesers and get baking!

Hi Kaz, sorry it’s with the chocolate when melting. I’ll add it in now!
Thanks!! PS – it won’t matter if you don’t use it (it just makes it easier to slice – thats all!!).
Hi just made this slice and it is very Yummy. The kids are going to love it when they get home from school. I am just a novice and wondering if you can freeze this slice as it made a massive amount and although very yummy too much to consume within a couple of days.

Hi Cherie,
You can freeze this slice (in an airtight container). xx
The rice bubbles went all stayle. It would be so good if they didn’t do this 🙁 are they meant to do that? Not stay crunchy?
Author
Hi Alicia, unfortunately due to the nature of rice bubbles, they wont stay crunchy for long (a bit like when you add milk to them in your cereal). Keeping the slice in the fridge might help a bit though!
Does this work with a milk substitute rather than condensed milk?
Author
Hi Andrew, the condensed milk is needed to ‘stick’ the whole slice together. 🙂
Wow. Absolutely delicious!! Will definitely make again and again! Xx
Hi, is cutting each Malteser necessary? Could you chop them for a few seconds in the bowl beforehand to save time? Thanks
Author
Absolutely! Just press Turbo for 1 second and check them!
Do you need to wash the bowl before doing the white chocolate step?
Author
Hi Val, yes you do 🙂
