- 50 g baby spinach
- 20 g kale
- 200 g cucumber approx 1
- 200 g water
- 1 frozen banana chopped
- 200 g coconut water
- 100 g apple juice (optional or substitute for extra coconut water or water)
- Juice of 1 lemon
RECIPE NOTES & TIPS
- The Thermomix will blitz the fruits and vegetables into a completely smooth drink... without any chunks or bits of kale/spinach remaining.
- Omit the apple juice if you prefer (I like to keep it in because it gives the smoothie a sweetness that kids love).
- Using a frozen banana is what gives this smoothie it's creamy texture.
- Serve immediately.
- This smoothie makes 2 large serves or 4 smaller (kid-size) serves.
- This recipe is not suitable for freezing.
