Notes

  • These Sausage Rolls are a great way to get some extra veggies into the kids, we like to add a carrot and small zucchini, however you can add other vegetables such as sweet potato or even capsicum for a little kick.
  • To store, place the Sausage Rolls into an airtight container and store in the fridge for up to three days.
  • You can freeze any leftover cooked sausage rolls. Place in a freezer safe container and freeze for up to three months.
  • To reheat from frozen, bake in an oven which has been heated to 180 degrees celsius (fan-forced) and cook for 10 - 12 minutes.
  • Sausage Rolls can also be frozen raw. Skip the egg wash step and place into the freezer. To cook, bake as per the recipe, however you will need to add an extra 10 minutes.
