Ingredients

  • 50 g baby spinach
  • 20 g kale
  • 200 g cucumber approx 1
  • 200 g water
  • 1 frozen banana chopped
  • 200 g coconut water
  • 100 g apple juice (optional or substitute for extra coconut water or water)
  • Juice of 1 lemon

Instructions

  • Place all of the ingredients into the Thermomix bowl.
  • Mix for 2 minutes, Speed 10.
  • Serve immediately.

Notes

RECIPE NOTES & TIPS
  • The Thermomix will blitz the fruits and vegetables into a completely smooth drink... without any chunks or bits of kale/spinach remaining.
  • Omit the apple juice if you prefer (I like to keep it in because it gives the smoothie a sweetness that kids love).
  • Using a frozen banana is what gives this smoothie it's creamy texture.
  • Serve immediately.
  • This smoothie makes 2 large serves or 4 smaller (kid-size) serves.
  • This recipe is not suitable for freezing.
