Equipment

  • Thermomix

Ingredients

  • 400 g milk chocolate
  • 395 g sweetened condensed milk

Instructions

  • Grease and line an 18cm X 28cm baking tray with baking paper and set aside.
  • Break the milk chocolate into pieces and place into the Thermomix bowl.
  • Add the sweetened condensed milk and cook for 10 minutes, 100 degrees, Speed 3.
  • Working quickly, pour the fudge into the prepared baking tray and chill in the fridge for 6 hours (preferably overnight), before cutting into pieces.

Notes

RECIPE NOTES & TIPS
  • Use full fat sweetened condensed milk (not skim sweetened condensed milk). This sets firmer and has a better texture and flavour.
  • Use a good quality chocolate (such as Cadbury, Nestle or Lindt).
  • Have your tin prepped before starting (greased and lined). This allows you to quickly pour the fudge in before it starts to set.
  • Allow the fudge to set in the fridge for 6 hours (preferably overnight) before cutting into pieces.
  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week.
  • Note: This is a soft fudge and needs to be kept in the fridge.
