Instructions
Place the potatoes and milk into the Thermomix bowl and cook for 16 minutes, 100 degrees, speed 1.
Check if your potatoes have cooked through, you want them to be soft in the middle. If still a little hard, cook for a further 3 minutes until soft.
Scrape down the sides of the bowl and carefully insert the butterfly attachment (the potatoes will be very hot) and add the butter, salt and pepper. Mix for 10 seconds, speed 3 to combine.
Scrape down the sides of your Thermomix bowl and mix for a further 3 seconds , Speed 3 to combine. Serve immediately.
Notes
The time it takes to cook your potatoes can vary depending on the size of the potato pieces.Make sure you don't over mix the potatoes as they will end up too thick and 'clag' like.Use white pepper to ensure no black specks in your mash.
