I'm a huge breakfast fan - in fact it's probably my favourite meal of the day (excluding dessert of course!). Usually, I'm a bowl of muesli, fruit and yoghurt kinda gal, but sometimes I like to mix things up a bit. OverĀ the last few weeks, I've been making smoothies each morning and LOVING them. They're such a quick and easy breakfast on the run!
This Skinny Mini Chocolate Peanut Butter Smoothie is by far my favourite at the moment. It tastes like you're drinking a super yummy ice-cream chocolate milkshake, but it's actually filled with healthy ingredients! I love that! It also kind of feels like you're having dessert at breakfast time, which is a very, very cool thing indeed!
This smoothie is so simple to make in the Thermomix. You just pop everything into the bowl and blend for 20 seconds. I love that breakfast is ready in less than a minute - how easy is that! If you're running short on time, pop your smoothie into a sealable jar and drink it on your way to work. This is also a great little treat to make in the afternoon (rather than reaching for that Freddo frog... although, let's face it - that will probably still happen too!).

Do you have to use skim milk? Can you use full cream milk
Lucy Mathieson says
You can use full fat if you prefer š
Chloe says
I don't have greek yohurt (or yoghurt of any kind) what could I use as a substitute? More milk? Chia seeds?
Lucy Mathieson says
Yep more milk! It wont be as thick and creamy - but still yum!
Chloe says
All right, thank you! ?

This looks amazing, going to try it tomorrow! I have some chocolate shake sachets that I sometimes have with along milk as part of my breakfast, do you think I could replace the cocoa with that? And maybe add more milk if it is too thick? Thanks so much!
Lucy says
Absolutely!! That should be fine!
